Like trying to be friends with an evil snail</b

I woke up to this this morning. So beautiful! Unfortunately it had stopped snowing by that point and was just RAINING. A lot. So yay… slush. But it was pretty for a while! The best part… my car was covered in snow this morning. By this evening, there was a layer of ice on top of the snow, the ice-layer snapped, and my car pretty much cleaned itself. So cool. Even though I do love clearing snow off the car, I appreciate that I didn’t have to bother today.

I took this mostly because the ladder under the snow amused me. (Look at the decorative yellow house to the left! Isn’t it pretty?)

I know the DePhoMo prompt for today is ’emotions’ but… snow makes me so very very happy, so i think this counts. I am tempted to say it is an "interpretive interpretation" but that seems a bit… repetitive.

Today, again, nothing happened. I was cold. I chopped a massive amount of vegetables for the soup we made for dinner. I managed to YET AGAIN burn my tongue on the soup. I don’t think I have EVER had soup and not burned my tongue at least a little. Which is pretty stupid, really. You’d think I’d learn. It’s like how in high school in the early mornings I would get a hot chocolate or a hot jam donut (or both!) and would burn my tongue on the hot liquid/goo so bad it would be raw for a week. And then I’d do it again. Or I would do it while it was still healing! But those hot chocolates were very hot, which is nice when you have to walk to school… although if I was having a hot chocolate that usually meant most of the ‘walking’ to school was in fact ‘sliding along on the frosty grass’ which was always massively enjoyable for me. I would get sad when it would be really cold and yet there would be no frost.

I could really go a hot jam donut right now. I haven’t had one of those in what feels like YEARS. There may have been one when I went home last year… but I don’t think so. If I had a jam donut, I was too lazy to heat it. Donuts are awesome. There is a toy cow sitting on this desk that came from a donut. A purple donut! Oh that was not tasty icing. Yet I ate pretty much all of it. And it wasn’t even my donut! Jenn was just silly enough to leave it within my reach while she was on the computer.

Jake has been filling my head with ridiculous songs today. He does that. Although they are not always ridiculous. Sometimes they are just things I don’t know. Mmm…. music. I should listen to some. But we will be watching tv in… 48 minutes. And turning the music off always makes me sad, so I prefer to just not listen to music in the first place. Because I am a tad odd like that.
