Neopolitan tub of soft and comfy

It is WARM here. It feels so nice. The lovely repair man finished up the work an hour ago and so YAY we have a working heater! He’s even coming back on Monday to make sure its all working well. So that’s great. 2 weeks since the thing almost went boom, not too bad really.

Today was jam-packed with doing stuff. I slept in till 11 which has left me feeling exhausted all day. I have no idea how I used to sleep until rather late on Saturdays. And by rather late, I mean I would wake up for dinner. If dinner was not at 6, I’d get up at about 6:30 because one of the channels would be showing SNL and I would watch that waiting for dinner. This was back when I aws talking to Jake though, so my schedule was all kinds of wacky. Due to his recovering from a brain injury (removal of giant cyst – his brain has a hole in it now. I’ve seen it on a scan) he was VERY strict about his routine (one thing I think I’ve helped him with, less insanely structured life) so I altered mine to fit in with his. So I’d get up at 9am on weekdays, chat with him in between his shows until he went to bed at 1pm, then I’d do housework or SLEEP or go hang out with Jenn. And then at 10pm-ish, he’d be back on the computer and we’d chat until I went to bed at 4:30. I only went to bed then because Mum got up then and if I was in bed asleep before then she wouldn’t give me weird looks. Saturdays there was always someone on the computer during the day, so I’d sleep all day and chat with Jake all night long. Get the weird look from mum when she’d get up on Sunday morning. And then the routine would start again. Ah, fun.

Ok that was a MASSIVE tangent.

We did laundry today, which was oh so fun. Crowded laundromat + one of the machines smelling like burnt rubber + our machine having water spurt out the top (even though it was a front loader) + being later than we would normally be there = not fun at all. And hungry. I love that the mall is right near, so afterwards we can go grab delicious food. Subway. mmm…. eats. And we looked around for stuff. New shoes for me (didn’t find any, they were all UGLY) which I didn’t think I needed until trying to walk around in my shoes with the inner sole sliding out all the time. Loads of crappy old-shoe fun that was! And we looked for a video camera. No luck there either. I am really no good at buying these things. It would be nice to give someone money and tell them to go get me something. Same with… I want a GPS. I don’t know what the difference in brands or which ones are better or anything like that. Would rather someone just hand me one, any one. I don’t like making decisions.

Ooh, and we went to Costco, and got a GIANT fluffy red blanket that is currently covering the couch making it look all sexy.

Is that not sexy? Love it. So comfy. And that blanket on the ottoman (which we call "the puppy") is the same material. As is this dressing gown I am wearing right now, which is a dark brown. When I’m sitting on the couch, it is like a neopolitan tub of soft and comfy. (ooh, that should be my title!)

We also went to investigate the Kohl’s right next to Costco, and both ended up getting a tshirt. Jake got something with a thundercats logo (he almost squealed when he saw it, so cute!) and I got a shirt with a tiger on it. I used to have another tiger shirt, but it got lost. Which makes me sad, because it was awesome, and it was the shirt I had when I met the Jake. I wasn’t looking for a shirt but there was an MJ shirt and so I had to go look! It’s like… the law. The law of Sez. The MJ shirt was not a nice one though, same old ones I’ve seen everywhere.

Ooh, and then we went to a bookstore because I had heard that Moonwalk had been rereleased so I wanted to check that out, compare it to my old copy. It has a LOT more pictures than the other version, and is a hardcover. Plus, the old version looks rather old, I bought it used and it has been read many times and now I have a shiny version as well. I was sitting on the floor, looking through it and Jake just said "Get up. You’re getting it." so I wasn’t going to argue. It can count as an early birthday gift or something. (My birthday is in 2 weeks. In 2 weeks I will be TWENTY FIVE which really does not feel accurate. I’m not mature enough to be 25.)

For dinner Jake had some bacon and then made scrambled eggs in the bacon fat left in the pan and we shared the eggs so I had a scramby sammie that had the faint taste of meatyness. Very yum.

The couch in all its sexy comfyness is calling me!

And sorry for multiple notes. It’s so late it’s early. I’m on my phone.

I am so glad I’m spoiled and have a washer and dryer in our apartment. I’ve been to laundromats and they’re not fun. 😛 Enjoy your sexy couch!

Ouuu, the couch blankie looks reaaaaaaaaally cozy! Sexy-cozy-couch! I’m 31 and I’m still 12 in my head so 25-schmenty-wive! ;op If you get a GPS, I’ve been told a TomTom is the best because it’s more portable in the sense that if you ever have to change cars the TomTom can go with you whereas others cannot. Or So Clay’s parents said when they bought one to replace the old one they had. :o) I also hate shopping and making decisions. I want Clay to make the decisions when we have to buy something because it usually ends up with me getting anxious and leaving without buying anything. Hehe.~jo
