Dont put your grandmother in a lawnmower!

We just watched I Am Sam. Such a teary movie. I love that I am married to a man who has no problem with crying. I remember when I was first visiting him, one of our first days we watched Finding Nemo and that movie always makes him cry. It’s so adorable. (I had to go check and I was right, it was my fourth day visiting when we watched that. So I’m awesome.)

I had more to say, I really did. But then I got distracted reading the madly-in-love-and-crazy-with-random entries from when I was visiting back in September 05. That was such a lovely trip. Plus, it led to all that is our life now! And how can that be a bad thing? I should stop reading it though, I’m only a few days away from my leaving and I don’t need to encounter that pain again.

We went to the farmer’s market today. For once it was sunny and warm on a Wednesday afternoon. We got a lot of squash (well, zucchini and the yellow things that look like zucchini… none of the things we call squash at home… although they were there! And they were HUGE! But they are gross) and a giant tomato and a jar of apple sauce. PINK apple sauce. Obviously the skins were still on it. It looks so creepy but I’m excited to try it and use it. Mmm…. apples.

It’s warm here but I’m still wrapped up in a blanket like it is a dress. I needed ‘clothes’ because Jake put the light on in the kitchen and I wanted a drink and I just haven’t taken it off yet.

Title is from something I read in the old entries.

We had delicious spicily marinated chicken for dinner. And we have much more in the fridge. MMMMmmmmm.

I hear ya on the make-shift “dress” as most of our windows don’t have any coverings yet. Can’t wait for blinds and curtains. Either or really!~jo

ryn: yes 😀 Yay for men who have no problem crying! I haven’t seen I Am Sam but from what I remember about it I’d probably cry too. Ooo pink apple sauce! Mmm marintated chicken!

I haven’t watched Finding Nemo in years, mainly because I somehow lost my VHS copy of it (note to self: buy the dvd). 🙂

Finding Nemo was the first movie I took Jake to see while he was at Gaylord. We both cried like babies and I still cry when I see it. He is an amazing man that Jake which is why he has an amazing woman like you Sarah
