A multi-tasking noise

So… fun. Today a lovely man came over, checked out the fridge and said something about the defrost thingy maybe? Whatever it was, it was something he needed to replace that they had obviously missed when putting it all together last week. The freezer door is currently wide open, it is all off and tomorrow morning we start it up again and hopefully all the ice has melted and that is all the problem is. And if things still aren’t cold by Friday morning… then we have to get another new fridge. Which we wouldn’t get until Monday or Tuesday.

The best thing is… tomorrow we are going out for dinner. To a place we haven’t been to since Ellen was here in October! Mmm… delicious mexican foodage. And if it is not working on friday, we go out again. And again. And again! Or we buy miniscule amounts of stuff at the grocery store right next door to our home and hope that whatever we make does not have leftovers because where would we put them??

So after that fun, and the fun of getting all the frozen stuff downstairs again so people can take it home to their freezers again… Jake and I went on a journey to the farmer’s market. There was so much delicious looking vegetables but we didn’t get any of that. I wanted a donut, so we got more donuts. Well, one each. But they were delicious apple cider donuts, and they were a lovely dark brown colour because they were properly cooked and all that! So delicious. We also got a pint of blueberries and a half pint of blackberries. I did not realise that I liked such berries! I knew I liked red berries but I guess I have never tried these ones on their own before. Oh yum. At least half the blackberries were gone before we even got home. They were so perfectly delicious and… tasted a bit like peaches actually. Mmm. We bought itty bitty vanilla icecream containers so we had an awesome dessert…. even if by the time we had dessert the icecream had melted. It was still cool, and it was so tasty, so who cares! Yum.

I am so glad we didn’t have much food that we had to send off to good homes. We bought barely anything last week and we would’ve been getting more foodstuffs either tomorrow or the next day but that can wait. Mmm…

Sitting, laying, even standing is starting to be a back pain. Stupid back.

I wish I could write an entry that didn’t contain complaining. Kinda hard though, when you don’t have something that is pretty much vital these days.

Pfft, I would say there’s rarely an entry on OD that doesn’t have a complaint. Well, except for in Jake’s diary because he’s the most un-complainy person I know. :o)~jo

I love apple cider donuts. The only time I can get them though is when we go apple picking. Good luck with the Fridge.

It’s not complaining, a fridge is really a vital necessity. I’d be just as upset about it, believe me. I hope it’s fixed now!

I looove blackberries. I don’t think i have ever had fresh blueberries, except in pancakes, muffins and fruit smoothies etc. I hope the fridge troubles are soon over. *huggles*

ryn: are they stronger moves yes? My chimchar knows cut, flame wheel, ember, and furry swipes. If evolving him is worth it then ‘ll do it 🙂 and I know! It’s odd that it would act like this. It was playing fine the other day. Silly thing indeed.

appliances suck! i hope your fridge gets fixed soon 🙁
