Belly nibbling silhouette!

I have brand new, semi-squishy green headphones. Well… are they called headphones when they are just the little bit that lives in your ear? Anyway, they are squishy and green and I think that is pretty awesome. If only they didn’t smell like new plastic always smells.

Today has been exhausting. For some reason I decided to clean the apartment this morning before going out and doing a buttload of stuff. So I was sweaty and yuck before I left the home. Very silly.

I ran away when Jake showed up on his lunch break (after hugs and kisses of course. And he carried the heavy basket of clothes to the car for me, because he is my beef. Beef being what we call muscles). Laundry was quick and… that place is actually kind of relaxing when there aren’t many people there. There was maybe 5 other people there, compared to when we usually go and it is packed and all you hear is NOISE. The only thing being noisy today was one of the game machines repeatedly announcing that there was no limit to how much I could win! I think there has to be though. Probably how much money I put in to start with. Silly machine.

After that fun I went to the mall which is maybe a minute’s drive away from the laundromat. Got my green headphones (I wanted pink… but all the things that were pink were either expensive or a bad shade of pink) and a Rob Thomas concert DVD. I was going to get my hair cut, but the DVD was the same price. I think my money went to the right thing.

I did CostCo, and Stop & Shop, and if I had bought one more thing it wouldn’t have fit in the boot, it was so full of stuff. My legs are ACHING now from pushing heavy trolleys all over the place. Jake does that.. I’m speedy, he’s beef.

I had fun though, I got to listen to my music louder than I can when Jake’s in the car. That was the only fun part, but still, I enjoyed it.

And I got home only a few minutes before Jake finished work. So he helped me carry the really heavy things in. And by that I mean… I took all the light things and left him to bring in the rest. 🙂

In Blogathon news, I’m not up to $40! Yay! My goal is to get a little more than one hundred more than that. Have to beat my amount raised from last time. Pretty sure I only got to $144 last time. At least, that’s all that I remember. That’s the number that I had reached at the end of the 24 hours. I know that purely because it was in my finale/stats entry. That was a good idea, I should do it again. Although it will surprise less people if they know I’m being serious about doing it. I’m really looking forward to Saturday. I’ve already warned Jake that I shall be rearranging this room so the desk and the couch are right next to each other. There is no way I’m sitting through 24 hours of computer-chair induced back pain again. My back has been hurting this week… it’s like it is remembering what it felt like last time.

We used this really yummy spicy mandarin sauce as the basis of our dinner tonight. It was so very yum. And we found these noodles that aren’t quite as good as the ones I want, but they are pretty decent and tasty and will totally make do, seeing as I can’t find the proper noodles.
