Magenta frog hotdog!

This week is being seriously lovely. So much feline cuteness it is hard not to enjoy myself. I mean, just now we were watching tv, and I had to sit next to this…

She started out facing the other way, and kept rotating in her sleep. Cuteness! That’s Meeka by the way, Deeka is still living under the bed pretty much. She is brave in the mornings, but then after me being up for an hour or so she’s back to hiding. Yesterday she was hiding behind the shower curtain, just for a change of pace. And they both enjoy sitting in the windows.

In non-kitty news… the town farmer’s market started today. yay! I love that place, it’s so lovely and peaceful. Probably because it is tucked away behind the playground area, surrounded by trees. The people at the biggest stand recognised as customers from last year, so that’s cool. I think really theye just recognised Jake, he’s pretty… obvious. 🙂

And! There was a stand with LOADS of apple related products – sauce, jam, chutney… and apple cider donuts. mmm…. donuts warmed by the sun. So good. Lovely little treat. Jake also picked up some locally made blueberry peach jam. He enjoys strange combinations.

But other than that, there wasn’t really much there that we use. A bunch of greens, and zucchinis the size of my lower leg. At least. Mmm… zucchini bread.

Oh! And I got some new socks the other day. I’ll have to take pictures, they are purdy. I haven’t tried them on yet, but I don’t need to, I know they’ll fit. I know socks a bit too well, I just need to take a glance at the toes and I know how comfortable they will be. One pair looks perfect, and the other looks like the little toe is mildly big. I have very long toes, except for my little one. He is really barely there.

Today I was in the mood to make yummies, so I made 2 dinners. curry pot pie (with turkey because that’s what we had) and roasted edamame salad, which I just can’t get enough of. It might be gone before it is a dinner. mmmm….. deliciousness.

Welp, that’s all the words I’ve got today. My title was Jake’s doing, I asked him for a colour, animal and food. 🙂
