Tory added a little extra trunk junk

This weekend has been sooo long.

The cake transfered so awesomely from the flexible cutting mat I iced it on to the travelling machine it lived in today. Which made me happy, as I was mildly worried about that.

Nick and Stacy met us at the mall in their tiny little 2 door car and we all went up to New London to because it is Matt’s birthday so we were having lunch/dinner/daytime eats. It was only one meal, but I’m not sure which one it classifies as. Probably dinner, but an early one. I had a slice of ham that was too thick, tasty though.

The rest of the time up there people were just talking and generally hanging out. Towards the end Matt put on a Jeff Dunham (?) dvd so I played solitaire on my phone until that died. I really do not like those puppets. I think I dislike them even more than I would normally because everyone on Jake’s side of the family loves them and quotes them pretty much every time we are together. And these people repeat themselves a lot in each conversation. Yay for a phone with solitaire and tetris on it is all I can say.

Ugh, so much noise today. Mostly in the car, loud music. I think my ears got blocked too, once we were back in my car we still needed the music loud so I could hear it.

I was exhausted and mildly headachey this morning before we left, because I slept crappy (too hot in bed, think it is time to take the deliciously soft blanket of warmth out) and yesterday was so very long and exhausting and full of stuff.

Title is what Mythbusters just said. Tory added bricks and cement to the trunk of a car to make it’s weight even. Coz they are dropping it from 4000 feet. Needs to fall flat.

Do I want oatmeal? Or just a milo? Hmm… probably milo. Mmm. Liquid.
