Oh monkey potatoes, that was good.

We went out for dinner tonight, to TGI Fridays. It mildly bugs me that people here abbreviate that to Fridays (well, the people I know anyways) but that’s just because I’m me.

I tried to show up early, but we arrived pretty much on the dot of 6. I could see someone inside and thought it was Jake’s brother but it turned out to be his dad. I’m still pretty amused that I can spot a Barnes man when he’s far away and not facing me though. Must be because they all look alike.

I had chicken fingers and actually enjoyed the honey mustard that came with it. I only like it 50% of the time. Althouh considering I’ve had it 3 times now, it must be 66%. But that’s an elephant. Only problem was after I was done eating, I felt nauseous and bloated… in the head. Still do mildly. It feels like a headache but I know it isn’t. TGI’s does that to me 50% of the time we go there (and this time it is actually 50%) but it is never the same meal so I think it is just when I’ve had it too often or something.

We ate, and then sat there for another hour while everyone told stories. I’m the quiet one, so I just listened. The entire drive home and until we started watching tv I could not shut up though. It’s what I do, Jake finds it cute. Maybe because I ramble about nothing. If you’ve been reading me a long time you’ll remember the massively long and pointless random entries I used to write (I do believe they are private now, as with most of my first year of writing here), I think it is pretty much the same reasoning behind it.

Plum sauce you just pour over your beard!! …Jake was just commenting on the silly man on tv with an amusing beard and I mixed what he said and what the tv was saying. Rather amusing. As for my title, I like to mix two words, any two words, and that is my way of ‘swearing’ now. It’s fun and innocent, which is a good thing. Saves me having to try and control my language once I make other people.

Your entries *used* to be random? I thought these were pretty incoherent, I wonder what they were like. Monkey potatoes, I might remember that one.

I find the note from darklightBoy amusing!!!!!! Is this someone new to your diary?

oh yeah and re: the milo bars. I will agree that the taste of Milo doesn’t seem to transfer to other foods very well. The ice cream is alright, but the breakfast cereal is horrendous. Is it hard getting Aussie foods over there? That’s what concerns me with ever going to the states. I’ve heard there’s an Aussie food store in NY, but, well, that’s in NY. It’s a big country.
