More Jeep on a pole than any other town

While I wait the further 2 minutes for all my pictures to copy to the computer…

HI! We’re back from Adelaide! Well, we were back about 4 hours ago, but then Natey took us to the movies (to see Madagascar 2, was entertaining… and then we had maccas which was tasty) so time went away.

So… umm… last Tuesday was fun. Got up at 4:35, didn’t get to bed till 1am. 9 hours of that was travel, in which I took many pictures.Of trees mostly. Because what else is there? We arrived at Nanna’s at about 5:30, where Matty had been for 9 hours and had been cleaning like a good boy. We had delicioud Barnacle Bill’s for dinner, which is always something we must have when in South Australia.

The next day was Christmas eve. So most of the day (as was most of the week) was spent with me playing my new game that Natey gave me for christmas. Around dinnerables time we went over to my aunt’s man’s place for christmas dinner.I love stuffing loaf. The bonbons (which Jake had never encountered before!) actually had rather cool prizes, so we all played with the spinny top and the bouncy frog and the puzzle that was missing a piece. And all the kids played go fish on a miniature pack of cards. 🙂

Christmas day we got up, did the present thing, and had a rather simple lunch of ham. And prawns and fritz and stuff too. I was mostly there for the fritz and ham. Yummy things. Jake, Matty and I went for a walk to the local river, because nanna said there was ‘exercise equipment’ there, so we had to go investigate. They were just silly like the regular playground equipment was, all noisy and such. We still tested them all out though. I have a bunch of pictures trapped on my camera because I tripped at one point and slightly jostled the camera card so the camera wasn’t registering it. Silly thing.

Boxing Day Matty went back to Melbourne. I think that is all that happened.

Saturday we went up to Port Pirie to see my dad’s sisters. And a few of my cousins were there too, so that was nice. I forgot to get pictures, which was a pity. Haven’t seen the cousins in a very long time, and probably won’t again. They are my older cousins, all the ones on Dad’s side are older than me, all the ones on mum’s side are younger.

(whoa, I just did something stupid to the window… somehow there is no longer the stuff at the top or the bottom… so there is no X in the corner or anything. It is weird. I have a clicking problem, I like to mess stuff up without even knowing how. At least there is still this window. And the save entry one)

What did we do sunday…. nothing. Awesome.

Monday night the cousins (on mum’s side) came over for dinner with my aunt. We had pizza that was very good. And a conversation that covered just about everything, from silly antics to WW2.

Today we did… much driving. And much drinking, of the non alcoholic kind, so I spent a good part of the drive needing to pee to some degree. Giant chocolate milkshake plus coffee milk plus apple blackcurrant juice will do that. I’m actually surprised it was that little, but …. it seemed like a lot more.

I have no idea if my pictures are even uploading properly right now because I can’t check the other internet tab…. eh, if it doesn’t work, too bad.

title: there is a town called Keith. They have a Jeep on a pole. Mum bought me a magnet of it when she went into the shop there. It is very rather amusing 🙂

Hope you all had a good week. I’ll catch up with you all… at some point 🙂

*edit* A third of the pictures are here. Silly facebook albums only holding 60 pictures.

Guess, what? I caught you on the front page again! Hey, sounds like you had a lovely christmas! :o) For your computer issues, I think you maybe just hit F11. If that doesn’t work, you can still switch windows by going Atl + Tab. It’s how I move around. Good luck!~jo
