smells made up our dinner-mind!

I don’t like how cold it is getting. I especially don’t like how my shoes have those stupid bits above the toes that let your feet breathe or whatever, because all it does is cause me to get home from our daily walks with almost numb feet. Even with thick socks on. It’s crazy. Can’t wait to go walking around in the heat again, even though that is always a more stinky adventure.

The good thing about the walk though, we walked past the church and it smelled like french toast so we decided to have that for dinner. And for the first time in… probably ever, I finished way before Jake did. I loves me some french toast. With ketchup on, of course. That is what makes it dinner.

Through the miracle of I don’t know what, I got my birthday package today. It was addressed to this apartment, but because it was coming through the post office not UPS or something, they would’ve dropped off a slip in our mailbox here… except we don’t have one. The package mentioned nothing of my having a PO box. And yet when I went to the po box… there was the yellow slip saying I had a package. So that was very awesome and odd and awesome.

So I spent my afternoon playing Sims 2. I’m really enjoying Free Time. And I was rather amused by the latest set of twins in the game, the girly-girl is totally into tinkering with cars and stuff, and the tomboy wants to do ballet.

Must get Russ to show us how to use this heater. It’s kind of insane to not have heating in this cold.

I have to find my way to (and through) Naugatuck on Thursday. Jake has to go to a GP for his meds now, no more special brain people. Wowzers. I think I should be fine. I’ve been to the rough area about 3 times in 2 years, and been to the actual doctor’s there once. I just need a refresher. I think the last time Lisa took us there was…. May probably. To get all our kitchen stuff from lovely lovely siblings and siblings in laws.

I discovered today that gatorade in a water bottle rather than in a glass is infinitely more flavourful and awesome. 🙂

I want warm chocolatey brownies.
