From truffles to pizza

Everything in our apartment is half a foot from the walls. It looks weird, and small. Thankfully we have fairly big rooms so it is still decent, but weird. Especially in here, the couch is all slanty.

This afternoon they were carving pumpkins downstairs, so I went down to hang out. Jake carved two pumpkins, a kitty and an alien. He had an awesome knife thing that helped him do the curvy bits from the stencil.

And we had pizza and it was a nice way to spend a few hours. And then we went for a walk and marvelled at the setting sun.

Hot milo makes for sleepy Sezzie.

This is Jake’s costume for tomorrow.

Is he wearing it to work like he did with the caterpillar costume last year? Coz I’m not sure if the rubber gloves will make him more or less scary looking!!! I thought the alien was a bat! I thought the hollow bits were the wings and the eyes the bats ears!!! but now I know its an alien I have to concentrate REALLY hard to see the bat again. Its AWESOME!
