That’s not bile, it’s garlic bread!

It’s cold. I was hoping this place wouldn’t get so cold, but with no carpet and oh so many windows, yeah, it is cold. So tomorrow I have the fun task of moving everything in our apartment away from the walls (as almost every single wall has a heating thing against it) and dusting the best I can and then hoping I don’t die from the stench of it. Which is stupid, because we will just have to do it all again in January… well, the stinky part. And that makes me sad. Which it why we were trying to not need to put the heaters on this year. But if you need to wear thermals under thick pjs and then a hoodie and then 2 lovely blankets and you are still kinda cold? That’s not so good.

But I’m a cold-wimp.

Ellen shared some of the photos she took while she was here. I stole a bunch of them from her photobucket, but I’m allowed. 🙂

I have 2 favourites.

In Central Park, Ellen climbed the hill to get some close pictures of squirrels, and apparently took pictures of Jake and I being cute.

One day on our walks, I got bored and ran ahead. And then had to sit and wait. I was mostly amused by this because as I zoomed in, I got more fuzzy and looked more and more like my mother. 🙂

That area is sad now because all the leaves are gone from the trees, and they swept all the ground-ones away. It’s like they were never there.

I had a very delicious hot milo for body warmings. Other than the having to stand at the stove for ~10 minutes waiting for the milk to get hot enough, it was awesome. Gotta love having to be old school.

I love those pictures. Can I get a copy of each? Please don’t get cold and get sick.

Oh – I thot you were moving – you can’t find a job for Jake over there? I’m sad 🙁 Well enjoy your lovely trip anyway. God bless! I hope you are enjoying the fall – it’s wonderful!

Thank God for insurance huh? I forgot about his disability. Thank God you can make it over there sometimes too. So he would have to find a job in Aussie with medical insurance – or Aussies don’t cover the high-tech screening that he needs? I guess they don’t have socialized medical insurance for ALL? Well God bless and I’ll be praying for you two. 🙂

Oh that’s RIGHT your microwave died! Well I know what YOu want for Christmas…or maybe you enjoy the extra space. How cold is it by you? Yesterday was cold here but today it’s already in the 50s with highs in the 60s and so we are all loving the weather! But…Australia is a tad bit warmer eh?

I’ve been dreaming of white sandy beaches lately. Last year in Novemeber Andy and I were on our honeymoon. The year before that in Nov we were in Punta Gorda Fl visiting his grandparents and soaking up the Gulf of Mexico. This year…no white beaches for pregnant ladies. So sad. I would settle for a hot tub but also not allowed. 🙁
