‘You fell smantastic!’ (6 months)
Today marks six months of marriage. Times goes woosh sometimes. Well, for the big things it does anyways.
So I went to the Split Rail for lunchables to celebrate. And I had a turkey burger, and it was awesome. But it was more awesome just hanging out with the Jake, coz he is awesome. If it was any other reason for why I was getting out of bed at 9am, I wouldn’t have done it. I was beyond exhausted when I woke up then, and it was weeird a bit.
It’s strange, coz it felt like a summer day almost, and there was even the smell of the beach in the air (which is just REALLY odd coz we are nowhere near water) yet there are piles of snow. So odd, but kinda funny too.
When we got home I just crawled in to bed, tried sudoku-ing and such but I was too tired. And ended up having the weirdest nap ever. Woke up even more exhausted than I was when I went to sleep. And after a short amount of time putering I went back to bed and would’ve slept more except the Jake came home and that made me happy and energy-full again… for a little while.
We made the most delicious nachos ever. With ground turkey that was cooked with salsa all over it. mmmm so good. I would’ve eaten it all no matter how full I got. Seriously… so good. I took one bite and said "This is so good I need to take a picture!" lol Which you would’ve known already if you clicked that link up there. I’m too lazy to put the picture in here!
I want to sleep for a week. Can I? Please?
title: one of those weird things that happens when Jake and I speak to each other.
