snow kingdom to my knees

I did not like snow this morning. Not at all.

I woke up… way too late. 11:30, so I aws all ZOOOOOM and got dressed so we could take Jake to get a shave before Walt shut at 12. But then, we spent 15 minutes cleaning the windshield from the thick layer of icy snow… and then we tried to drive but the plow had pretty much pushed a huge pile of snow in front of the car. And so we went inside, feet and lower-pants drowned.

And then Matt came home and was all "oh, the shovel is right here, duh" to us, so Jake went and freed us and we went grocery shopping which was rather fun… well the carpark bit was, coz there washuge puddles and massive mountains of snow and things.

Plus, we went to Kmart to get some teaspoons as we only have one here… but all the ones we could find were tablespoon-sized, despite what they were labelled as. So that was rather annoying. But we got lightbulbs at Kmart, so that was good. Stop and Shop didn’t even have them. WTF?!

Once home and unpacked and all that, I dragged Jake out to play in the snow with me. 😀 There was a huge pile of snow that the plow had gathered, so I climbed it, and got pictures OF COURSE. And then when I walked down the other side, I sank. To my knees. And it was so funny that once I got out of it, I handed Jake the camera (as he was sensible and didn’t join me in the climbing!) and went back to pose with my legs in snow. My shoes liked it so much they almost stayed!

And then we walked around the back of the building, sinking our feet right in with every step, and by the time we got to the front door we were walking on puddles! So now our shoes are wrapped up happily in towels. 🙂

So I started the day not liking snow, but I do again. So its all good.

The rest of the day has been spent being warm and lazy, playing pokemon and watching tv and such. I had popcorn for dinner. Coz I wasn’t feeling really hungry but wanted something to eat. It did the trick. Now I want milo! Yay for having milk!
