Stroking the shinies

So it seems OD is being a bit weird to me tonight. Oh well. I can handle some weirdness. La laa laaa.

Last night, at like 2 or 3am, I found out that Darren Hayes released a new single here 2 weeks ago! This is the problem with not keeping up to date with music and such. So today I went out to get said single. Coz I want it. Duh.

Went to Jenn’s, coz I invited her to lunch seeing I was going out. I hadn’t seen her in 3 days or some such. That’s a long time. (how am I gonna cope when she leaves me for 2 years?!).. So we went to Forest Hill, for further investigating that didn’t really end up with anything. And all the 1.5 cd places there sucked ass. So ya. Arse. I have to go to Northland or some such tomorrow. Or soon. Arse.

We went to KFC for lunch. On the way, we walked through the food court of the shopping centre, so Jenn got a big potato sized potato ball at the indian restaurant, called a potato bonda. (It’s like panda but not.) Twas tasty. Mmm taste.

My Jenn helped me find another pokemon rom, so thats a yay. I got sapphire instead of emerald this time, coz all the emerald ones are stupid and have a error when you "complete" the game, it wipes it! So I’m hoping that won’t happen this time. Won’t find out till I’m done. That usually  takes about 50 hours. Mmm yay, something to do! I was feeling incredibly bored lately. So me now happy.

Title today is from this afternoon, I was stroking the shiny bits on Jenn’s engagement ring and partially singing those words that are now immortalised as a title. I can’t spell, but you don’t know that as I spell check every entree in word. Oh yeah. I’m sneeky! *sneeks* All typos left are how I WANT the words to be.

This afternoon, about 1pm, I kicked the cupboard in our kitchen area. This giant thing that has been there for many years (so apparently by now I should know how to avoid it lol) and I kicked it and hurt my little toe and the bit that makes that toe be attached to my foot. So that hurts. It’s not 10:30pm and it still really hurts, but at least I can walk on it without pulling in-pain faces. Yeah, I’m smart. I wonder if its bruised? *looks* there appears to be the beginnings of a pretty good bruise! That’s a good thing. I wouldn’t want owwies without being able to show people lol

This morning, after a lovely refreshing shower, I settled down to watch some episodes of the Simpsons and fell asleep. I still watched the eps in my mind, but I can’t remember what the first one was! Maybe there was only one… but it went for an hour? As you can see, random naps confuse me.

This evening, 7:30pm saturday when there is NOTHING on tv, I watched the end of "Contact" …you know, the bit where stuff actually happens. I fell asleep during that too. Only for half hour. Mini naps like that are SO GOOD when you wake up and feel refreshed! And refreshed was how I felt. Still is. Mmmm lasting effects of fresh-awakeness. Or something. I’m weird on Saturday nights when left to entertain myself.

My water bottle has warm water in it, coz it sat in the car all day long. So its gross. I should refill it with fresh cool tap water. Mmm tasty tasty tap water. My burps keep tasting like potato panda. We need a (good) recipe for that stuff. Twas yum.

My socks have hearts on them. My VisualBoy is being very speedy, too speedy to be able to play well. Good thing pokemon ain’t a precision game! Yes… I get obsessed with my games easily. =D

My hair is being extremely soft today. Tis goodly odd.
