I love you, have an acorn.

I had a whole bunch of entree written, but then I left it to go watch tv for a bit and someone came and closed the window. Arse. Me not happy. Lousy brother-of-the-brainmate.

Today Jake and I walked over to the Split Rail for breakfast (well, lunch. It was 11am). That’s a 15 minute walk, and I remembered my camera this time, so I took a whole bunch of random pictures. Didn’t get one of any cool trucks though, they only passed us when we were sitting in the restaurant and I didn’t have my camera a-ready.

I had a cheeseburger (why oh why do people put mayo on burgers and such? It’s so feral!) and it was pretty tasty. For meat and cheese lol. But it’s what I fancied. I also had fries, with strawberry and cherry jam. mmm… jam on chips is so good. I’m weird, eh?

This place seems very friendly to me, whenever we’re walking in or around the building, if someone sees us they will wave. Jake tells me people aren’t normally like that… maybe I really am a rockstar? hehehehee

We went wandering outside so I could take pictures of squirrels, but I failed. No squirrels wanted to be on the ground for me to take pictures of. So I got random Squidy-posing pictures instead. I also discovered that there were 3 cats in the trees just on the other side of the parking spaces outside. Dunno if they live there always, but they were there. I think I got at least 1 picture of them, but it wasn’t very good. I wanted to try and pat one, but they kept running away from me. Evil things. Or maybe it was the giant scary man that was following me LOL

We went to sit by the road, coz there’s a random seat there, and some random lady came and sat down with us and started talking. Another thing that apparently doesn’t happen around here. I think I got a creepy picture of a zooming truck, but maybe not.

Unfortunately the pictures won’t be seen till I am home, due to the lack of scanner or such here. Oh wellity. Still have to get pictures of us together, there are MANY pictures of Jake, and one of me (or 2, if you count the random belly shot coz I was oh-so-random-bored) but I don’t like getting other people to use my camera. Meh, its all pie.

I went hunting around this puter for quarters before (crazy lack of laundry money!) and yay I was successful, but seriously… so grossness too! And hehehee… I found an eye-patch! =D
