Why Chicken, WHY?!

Thursday marked my last day of uni. Bam, I’m almost officially a uni dropout. *rolls eyes at self*

Got home at 5, after 8 hours of being at uni, and went to Greensie to meet up with the one who is Jenn. =D w00tage! Got to see her new phone. =D

We went to the Optus place, I got them to fix my phone up so that I could actually hear things when there was a phone call or something. So very handy that is. Jenn got "assistance" with her new phone too… and we had dinner. Score, a whole 2 dim sims for me. yum yum! But Hairhouse Warehouse played MJ!!! Mmm… Billie Jean and The Way You Make Me Feel and Black Or White!! 3 great songs to be played!!!!! =D

Mmm… random driving made us hyper, and it all started with Jenn hearing Hoj’s slowing down noise. As she put it, he sounds like some doors opening/closing in some sci fi something. And he does! So amusing it was, every single time we stopped at the lights lol.

Slappages, they’re like sausages but not.

Jenn gave me the price tag off her pokky I got her from uni today. So I cost $1.95 …I’m sure that’s not what I paid for it but I don’t care lol. =D

We were being random at Squidy. If he was anyone but Squidy I reckon he would’ve gotten weirded out lol.

We went wigglies. It was fun. We went gateway. It was fun. We went Safeway, where Dove chocolate was 2 for $5 and 2L coke was 2 for $3.70. So I purchased that (one of the chocolate was for Jenn!) and Jenn got herself some drinks and some "caramel crumb" chocolate… I think it’s the new Nestle chocolate stuff? You know, the red packets and they are all "oooh, we’re indulgent". …yeah, that stuff kicked SO MUCH ASS!!!

We went massive random driving through the ‘country’ ness… a fox ran in front of the car at one point, always fun lol. We did a giant circle that was turning out to be a Star Mart journey, so we decided to go stalk the last train for the night. The dashboard lights were fading but I didn’t think anything of it.

Hmm… so by the time we were in Eltham I was starting to think there was something actually wrong with the Hoj, and pointed it out to Jenn, but we still went to stalk the train, we just planned out what would happen if when the car was turned off it wouldn’t start again. So we got to DC station, and I got out to look at the headlights… which were faded to nada almost. Bah.

So yes, Hoj did not start again. Called the lovely lovely Nissan Roadside Assistance people (how much do they rock being 24 hours!), told them the battery had died and they said they’d be there within the hour. Jenn and I just sat out the Hoj windows, her smoking, both of us rather needing to pee and we listened to music. Yes, the stereo worked, so clearly the battery wasn’t dead like I thought. Of course this didn’t occur to me until about half hour after I called the people, and I tried the engine and the car started. Bam. JUST THEN the assistance came. So we just acted like it hadn’t happened…

Nice RACV man told us that Hoj needs a new alternator, and that this will just keep happening till he gets it. And he was right about that!! As soon as he drove off (we were following him… not intentionally but we were) the battery light came back on and the headlights and dash lights faded again and so Jenn just got dropped at home like I was a taxi and I came straight here with faded lights. At least he drives well.

The RACV man said that, because I had told the people YESTERDAY when Hoj got a service about the battery light going on, they should’ve replaced the alternator. So that’s a pile of flan. So now its more than likely the car won’t start in the morning, and will need to be jump started. Oh well. He’s going in next week sometime for other stuff, they can replace the alternator then. And I gotta remember to tell Petie that the air-bag light came on for a long period of time tonight as well.

Joyous joys, I came home and Mum had left the puter on for me!! Yay! Hence why its 3:20am and I’m writing here. Bam. I should sleep. I really should.

hmm… not as random as it was at the time!! lol. Jenn and I were totally getting high off randomness and the fact we’d been shut off in a room with no fresh air coming in and we (she) was filling the room with personal stench. LOL. Hmmm…
