The rest of the pics….

Dear Diary,

In an attempt to be tidy I posted a couple of smaller entries today that stuck to just one topic each.  BUT, I’m getting ready to leave for a 4 day shore weekend and just want to be caught up here with sharing my nonsense….. in other words this one isn’t going to be tidy.  

Maybe bullets will keep it a bit less messy though….

• I’ve been spending quite a bit of time day dreaming about my upcoming trip to Venice and Greece.  If I have access to a Google image search while daydreaming I tend to save visuals like these….

So pretty! To say I’m excited is a complete understatement….

• I have some more pics from the weekend before last when we were at the shore.  This was the weekend before my mom left and returned home.  Somehow she and Reagan decided they were going to have a race on the beach.  We went for a walk down the beach in order to locate the perfect race location for them.

Mom was ready for a swim after the big race.  Have you ever raced your grandma??

• That same beach weekend I found Reagan half buried a couple of times….

• On one of the beach days there was a brief period of sprinkles.  It wasn’t enough for us to pack up and go but without knowing what it would turn into I did get our stuff, my mom and Reagan huddled under the umbrella.  I thought it made a cute pic….

Reagan was working in his Lego Batman sticker activity book…  The rain was blowing in a bit so I hung the towel to keep his book dry…..

• My mom took these next couple and I didn’t even know it until I looked through the pics later.  I’m sorta glad she captured his snuggle.  It’s pretty typical that if I stretch out on the blanket that he stops for a snuggle.  I know those days are numbered and that I have to soak up these moments while they last….  

Reagan must of figured out she was taking the pictures and decided to make a funny face….

• In an entry earlier this week I mentioned that Reagan wanted to make Baghdad in the sand and then it ended up being Venice, then Atlantis…. Here it is…

• The tomatoes I picked from my little garden one evening this week…. straight from the vine into our salads…. yum!  Woody thinks we’re growing balls for fetch I think….

• Did I mention finally replacing Reagan’s Thomas backpack, lunch box and water bottle that he’s carried to school for Preschool, Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten?  I found a fun Lego Mini Figure backpack….

This image is a mess but I found a cute lunchbox with various robots on it….

And this is the new water bottle…

since he was so over Thomas he has started to use them for camp this summer already.

• I think I’m going to make a necklace just like this….   I found the beads but decided I should buy them on sale or with a coupon so I haven’t done it just yet…

That was all really random but it feels good to have shared what I had left to….  Now I can move on to my shore weekend and take a fresh batch of pictures for next week!
