A trip down camping’s memory lane… pics

Dear Diary,

We are just about set for our camping trip this weekend. I have the car mostly loaded already. I’ll need to finalize food and then put last minute items in our duffle bag on Saturday morning. Reagan and I have been talking about our plans and getting ready for the past few days. We’re getting excited. I put together pics from several years of going to this state park. It’s been our go to campground since Reagan has been around. I like that it has a sandy swim beach. These were fun to go back through…. enjoy!

A camping treasure box we made. I should bring this for the weekend. I have a camp scavenger hunt printed out and he could tuck some nature keepsakes into his box….

There is a playground on the beach in the camp ground….

Our beach blanket looks so new here. The colors have faded from lots of days laid out in the sun and from lots of washings. We made this either late in 2008 or early in 2009.
