Bugs Land – California Adventure *pics* (Vaca #15)

Dear Diary,

Continuing on with Spring Break vacation pictures….

I left off with pictures from California Adventure.  I’m going to share a section of that park called Bugs Land.

It seems to have to ways of access.  One is from Carsland….

From the Carsland side there are some fun bugs welcoming guests…

The second entrance is from the Hollywood Land area…

The walkways are illuminated by lightning bugs!

There are about 5 rides in this area….

Above there are clover canopies and also props like straws to make you feel tiny like a bug…

I really soaked this area up because I imagine next time we are here that Reagan will have long outgrown it….

This show is almost identical to the one in Florida.  I don’t remember if it was at Animal Kingdom there….. or maybe Disney Studios….

I think they are all so clever!  A Stickbug Named Desire…..

I’m please with how this picture my dad took turned out.  This is a 4-D show.  So you add the glasses to get the full effect….  You can barely see a peek of it but the temps were in the 60’s or so during the day.  In the sunshine it felt like heaven.  But as the sun would set it would begin to feel chilly.  I had leggins in my bag that I would pull on when needed.  I used them both Disney days by the end of the day.  It kept me cozy and keeping on!

I lied before when I said there were two ways into Bugsland… There are three!  This was a more centrally located entrance near the main entrance of Carsland….

And that concludes Bugs Land!

We’re almost done with this park…. I’ll share the Pixar Play Parade and a bit of the World of Color show in the last entry for this park.  Then I just have Universal Studios, My visit with my Brother and then back to the beach in Mexico to wrap up our trip.  Almost there… thanks for being patient with me while I document all of this here….
