Easter Pictures Part 2
Dear Diary,
Continuing on with Part 2 of the Easter Pics….
Adding some sparkles…
Wasn’t this a good shirt choice for egg dying…
Later that evening Reagan helped Daddy make homemade cinnamon rolls!
so cute!
Our Easter outfits all set for Easter Sunday….
For the main Easter Bunny event on Sunday morning a map was created. One for outside and one for inside. A check list and legend completed the maps…
We told Reagan that it felt like an April Fool’s joke to get empty Easter baskets….
Some lettuce and carrots for the Easter Bunny….
There was a note explaining why the baskets were empty. He had to use the maps to find his basket goodies…
The little basket I put together for Keith…
Woody just before the big basket hunt…
Reagan did the indoor hunt first. There was a house floor plan drawn and 12 carrots marked the map and led him to where he would look for his gifts….
Like the bathtub…
The washer…
The Refridgerator…
in the piano bench….
In his Lego bin…
The vase…

studying the map to find some more….
The bookshelves in his room….
The mudroom….
I’m not sure about this pose but there was one behind the ellyptical…
One was tucked behind the pillows on the spare bed…
Almost done….
Once all the inside gifts were found his built basket looked like this…
Studying the map for the outdoor hunt…
Here we go!
He found one of Woody’s!
There were carrot goody bags hanging from several trees….
Woody’s were marked on the map with two green bones. Reagan got those first…
Reagan and Woody…. Those big eggs in the background belong to the neighbor…
One of the carrot bags…
There were two big blue eggs marked on the map…. here they are!
Team Easter Bunny was up at 5 in the morning. It took a good hour to get all set up. It was dark and chilly…. carrots were tied to trees using a flashlight. Mommies and thier big ideas!
Smiles like this make it all worth it!
Reviewing the map….
Taking the carrots out of the trees..
Aren’t they sweet….
Making the rounds and gathering goodies in the yard….
The front porch…
along the side of the house…

a little carrot egg patch in the sandbox. Can you see the Happy Easter writing…
It was a happy hunt!
The guys….
No more empty baskets…
A Lego set and a Skylander Giant….
The inside goodies unwrapped…
Want to see the cutest egg filler of the year?!
A hedgehog for the animal collection!
Keith and I went into the kitchen to work on the Easter meals. Reagan came in to show Daddy the new Wii game….Thrillville….
Look how cute the cinnamon rolls turned out! Yum! And as if that wasn’t indulgent enough as is Keith took the cinnamon rolls and turned them into bread pudding! SO amazing!
Getting ready to turned the dyed eggs into deviled eggs….
My deviled egg tray makes me happy every Easter….
We sat down for a breakfast together…
After breakfast we spent a couple of hours at church. Keith’s mom came after church for a visit. We had her take a family picture…
Just Keith and I….
Getting one with everyone cooperating is easier said than done…
snacks before our mid day Easter meal….
For our main meal we had ham, potatoes, salad, corn, sourdough bread, homemade mac and cheese and wine. For dessert we had the wonderful bread pudding Keith made. AND NOW… I need to get back on track diet wise!
It was a lovely, long weekend filled with many nice family Easter memories! Good stuff! (If you missed part 1 and are interested go back one…..)
Omgosh, your pictures are amazing! I can’t believe how all-out you go for Easter! Makes me feel like I’m really lacking in the Easter department! I think next year, I may have to go bigger!

🙂 Looks like so much fun! When Reagan outgrows the playhouse, do you plan to leave it there for possible future children or grandchildren someday? Hopefully it will still be several years before he outgrows it. Can you and Keith fit in there? It is a bit hard to tell how big it really is inside. 🙂

Wow, you are the best mom ever! You always pay so much attention to detail and I love how Woody is always included in any holiday gifts. 🙂

I like the map idea, I might try that for Evan. Our Easter Bunny leaves him clues he has to decipher to figure out where his treats are 😉
