Two posts two days in a row?

Jeez I sure got a lot to say lately eh? LOL! But this will just be a quickie inspired by my sister DomestiCat’s note. She agreed that our grandmother never threw anything out and mentioned how she even saved the plastic containers from things like butter or Cool Whip to use for storage instead of buying rubbermaid ones. That reminded me of something my brother did one Sunday that had us all laughing.

He has a great sense of humor and was in on the group clean up after one Sunday dinner. My sister Kathy and I were also helping and she doubted that Grammy would want to save the less than a spoonful of peas left in the pan. I told her to ask because I bet she would and sure enough, she said "Oh that’s just enough for Arthur’s (our grandfather’s) lunch tomorrow!" I will never never forget the looks on Brian’s and Kathy’s faces as I laughed! LOL!

Brian was still in amazement as he kept cleaning up. Then he picked up a glass half full of water, looked at it for a second, then put it down, and went to get a baggie. We were all looking at him wondering what he was doing, including my grandmother, when he looked at her and asked if he should pour the water into the baggie to save it!

We were all laughing, including my grandmother, as she exasperatedly told him no! We all did notice however that she grabbed the baggie back from him and put it back in the box! LOLOL!

My grandmother re-used the ziplok bags – just washed them and left them open to dry and reused them:)

oh…I thought it was Uncle Franks daughter , Patty who asked for the clock. So it was Janet. still gutsy to ask them to will it to her.

Remember one time when Brian had a hard time getting Travis to go home after a friend’s birthday party. Out of frustration he told him he was taking another little boy home in place of him! Of course, Travis couldn’t have that and quickly headed out the door! Hahahaha

Thank you for your notes, they were really sweet. We don’t know each other, but it did mean a lot to me. Those guys mentioned in my entries are mostly ex-boyfriends and I think I just continue talking to them because there is a level of comfort. I don’t have to get to know someone new. It’s wrong. I know. I need others to tell me that sometimes because my friends don’t usually.
