Third Party Entry

Where have the small things gone?

The little dings and scratches on a plug.  The size of the prongs [because size does matter].  A dance with wine and candlelight.

There’s poetry on the wind but most of us don’t listen.  It’s all a grey area, a penumbra.

The level of diction rises [there’s a naughty joke there somewhere].

Time for a list.

One
I walked briefly today, and discovered what it meant to be cold.  Or maybe it was yesterday.  Yes, yesterday.  It wasn’t so much the temperature.  There was a distinct wind that flitted through the soul for a moment.  And it was pleasant, but chilling.

Two
Music ripped into me as well.  I liked that, too, but for different reasons.  Beware tunes written by Elvis.  They loosen pants.

Three
Three a.m. conversations are wonderful.  I was talking to this boy [gasp] and we got into details about wine and things.  It was one a.m. for him.  Oh well.  I think I was up until 6a.m. or so my time.  He taunted me with wine, and I wanted sangria.  Alas, without stirring people, it was an impossible task.  So I sulked, and then we laughed.

Four
Inhale.

The best dreams are when we meditate while walking, and as such live a dream.
