It’s Been A Minute…
Evening everyone. It’s been such a long time since I’ve been here. I’ve been wanting to write, I’ve just been extra tired lately. But, seeing that I changed my front page a little, I figured why not write too.
Things are not bad on this end. We got our taxes and got the van, as you seen from my previous entry. I love it. We also got caught up with our bills. Woo. Then we went shopping!! My favorite thing. Kids got new beds and the finally got there own bedding. Owen got a Cars set and Riley got a Dora set. Pat and I got a new TV. 42 inch flat screen, so we had to get a new stand for it. We got one that the TV mounts to. So, seeing we got those 2 things, Pat wanted a new sound system, so ok. I finally got my deep fryer and my George Foreman grill. I love the thing. But, the main thing is, we finally got our van. It’s great to able to get the hell out of the house.
Owen and Riley are good with sprinkles of bad. The kids got sick again. Owen and Riley both ended up with double ear infections. Riley’s went away, but seeing Owen has had 4 since his 2nd birthday we [as in the ENT, Pat and I] came to the agreement that it’s time for tubes. So, April 9th Owen will be getting tubes in his ears. On top of that, he still has the ear infections seeing the medicine isn’t working. So I have to sit and watch my son deal with a double ear infection because there is nothing I can do for him until April. It was the earliest they could get him in. Other than that, 3 months until they’re 3. Can you believe it? 3 years old already. Oy vey I feel old.
On top of that, remember a few entries back how I was talking about having to visit the OB/GYN ever 6 months due to have abnormal cells? Well the last one I had came back normal and they said I could start coming back yearly. I went and did my annual back in November, and I got a call in January that the cells were abnormal again. So now I have to start going every 6 months again. It worries me, but the nurse assured me that it has gotten better, which leads me to think that the previous exam wasn’t normal and Dr. Page read something wrong. I go Monday.
Then, I have a big event in April as well. Other than Owen getting tubes. I have a seminar April 29th to start motions into getting the Lap Band surgery. I’m so excited. I know it’ll be a slow process, but I can’t live with all of this extra weight anymore.
We are about to sign a new lease for apartment. I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since we moved in here. I am looking, however, for a 3 bedroom. If I find something before the new lease then cool, but I’m not holding my breath. I’ll have to ask management about upgrading to a 3 bedroom apartment.
Hmm…trying to think. I think that’s all for now. Nothing really too crazy on my end. I do read daily. I may not note all the time, but I do read.
I’m going to end this entry now. ‘Til next time…toodles.
