Dr. Appt #3 and PICTURES!!

Hey everyone. Time for the entry and the ultrasound pictures!! Everything went great up at the appointment. The only problem that Pat and I had was the snow that was coming down. It was snowing like crazy by the time we got up to the city. We slid once and I almost had a heart attack. We got there around 4:06 and my appointment was for 4:30. Found where we had to go and had to fill out some paper work. We got called back around 4:45ish and the technician went right to work giving me the ultrasound.

Both measured in at a little over 7cm [3 inches] long. If you make a fist and look at it length wise, that’s how big they are. Heartbeats were 170 beats per minute. All I could do was cry. I was so happy to see my kids alive!!

Pat was one proud dad that day. It was so good to see him express how excited he is about us having the babies. It’s not often that he shows emotion like that but when he does it’s fantastic. He wanted to keep me there for the next 5 months doing the ultrasound just to look at them.

Baby A was extremely photogetic. Moving around, sucking his/her thumb, showing his/her face, but Baby B just wanted to be left alone. There was a time when they were both looking at each other which was so cool. But Baby B is more submissive and Baby A is more aggressive.

We didn’t get out of the hospital until 6 that night. I had to have blood drawn after the ultrasound so we did that and we left. It took up almost 30 minutes to find the car in the parking garage. That was fun. I was freezing by the time we found the car.

Now onto what I wanted to tell you last entry. It’s about my mom. I don’t remember if I told you guy that her and Dan got back together. If you’ve read me for awhile you’d know that me and this man go together like oil and water. I absolutely hate this man. And it’s mutual feelings from him. Anyways, they got back together and he moved in here at mom’s in November. Well last Saturday mom showed up at my house at 10 in the morning asking for my house key. I asked why and she told me that she went out with her girlfriend that night seeing it’s the last weekend before school starts. Apparently Dan flipped out and told the girls, my sisters, that he was going out too and where ever they were staying that night was where they were going to stay because no one would be here. While my mom was gone, he packed his clothes, took all his pictures off the wall, and took all his alcohol paraphernalia and left my mom with a bag of hats and a truck full of his stuff. And on top of that, locked my mom out of her house and took the house key. Craziness. What makes me so ‘on top of the world’ is because she has the balls to sit and talk shit about my babies father, my fiancé, but if I want to go to my friends, doesn’t matter if it’s a guy or girl, he doesn’t flip out and pack my stuff and make me leave or visa-versa. So that’s the drama of that mess. All I can say is I told her so. I didn’t tell her that. She’ll never learn and this time I can’t be blamed for him and her breaking up this time. Woo!!
