So I went and seen my lawyer today….

Hey there everyone. Just writing to tell everyone how it went with my lawyer. I think it went really well. She is going to try and get me off with an ACD which is, in legal terms, called adjournment in contemplation of dismissal, an adjournment in the interest of justice with a view to dismiss the case. The granting of it is not a conviction and is not an admission of guilt. The court may require me to perform community service or participate in a program. For my case the length of the adjournment is for six months. Or she is going to try and get me out on a Youthful Defender. Where seeing that was 18 when this happened I can be pretty much let go…if I understood my lawyer right. That if I got that they my surcharges would be waved and that it would be sealed and I wouldn’t have to put down that I was convicted of anything. Which I am hoping for. If she can’t get that shes going to try and get it down to a violation of something…can’t member now. I am just so happy that she can hopefully make it so I am not in massive trouble. She said that I could get a fine and/or community service and the most extreme that I could get, mainly if I pissed the judge off, is 15 days in jail. I don’t intend on saying little or nothing at all. Only when I am spoken to. So yeah, all and all it went good. I was there for a good hour!! I like her and I will be so happy when all of this shit is all over.
Oh my good god!! I swear the last 2 days have been torture Amanda day. I’ve seen Pete twice!! Once at the gas station last night and then at the intersection today when I was coming home from the bank. It’s almost like someone is laughing at me showing me that I screwed up. I wish it would stop. I’ve gone through enough with all of that shit. I don’t need anymore!!
Hmm, haven’t called Sean. I am just going to wait until he’s working again. I don’t want to bother him while he’s with his friends and stuff.
John and I are fine. Nothing major. Just normal stuff.
Well I am going to go seeing John is on his way over as we speak and all I wanted to do was tell everyone how it went with my meeting with my lawyer. PLCG!!

P.S. Sarah, sorry you haven’t gotten your letter yet. It’s been a crazy week and I’ve been running around a lot. Haven’t had a spare minute to write you back. I promise I will!! Don’t think I forgot you!!
