You know that feeling when you know you’re about to realise or understand something, but it hasn’t quite gotten to you yet? I’m not sure I can explain it, it’s an extremely difficult thing to describe. You just have this feeling of impending development, where you will either be overjoyed or heartbroken.

The dialogue between Chiaki and Makoto in this movement perfectly captures this phenomenon – it’s almost a short-film all on its own.
