Learning about hair

I understand now that the length of one’s hair is directly proportional to one’s likelihood of having a bad hair day. Now that I’m growing mine long for the first time in probably 15 years, I’m beginning to learn this. For some strange reason, I failed to wash my hair on the weekend and hence did so on Monday night. Today at work my hair is a mess. I like my body’s oils, they keep my hair from fluffing. In any case, today is a mildly bad hair day, and I’m sure that if it were longer, it would actually piss me off. As it’s only just past my ears, it’s only mildly annoying; after-all, there’s only so much I can be concerned about my hair, which means to say, not at all.

In other news, I’m not schizophrenic, which is great. All of my mildly hallucinatory phenomena are in line with Bipolar II. Joy. Also my new doctor seems a bit of alright, though it’s early days yet. Nevertheless I’m to have my blood, urine and gods know what else tested to see how my lovely cocktail of meds are effecting me. Double Joy. The needles I don’t mind at all, it’s the fasting and pissing into a bottle that I don’t like. I know, I know, it’s all for the benefit of my health.

Mezame no Hakobune should arrive today and I’m dying to watch it. Gods bless CDJapan and their three-day shipping turnaround, far superior to Amazon’s allegedly expedited shipping.

When I actually get my finances together, I’m thinking of buying an acoustic drum-kit. Big noise maker, but ultimately very cool indeed.

This morning my mother was on Skype with my sister and Baby Olivia. Olivia is the cleverest little girl there is, and was as usual totally attentive to the little video on the screen of mum and I, and squealed with delight when I appeared on screen. She claps her hands now, which is the latest addition to cool things she does, including shaking her head and blowing rasberries.

And yes, babies are still cooler than anything else, including rare DVDs from Japan.
