The advantages of corporate jobs

Unlike my last job, there are certain advantages to working in a highly professional corporate office.
Take note: this is actually what counts in a job.

My desk drawer contains:
– Many spare pens
– Spare ruler
– Correction tape
– My very own stapler
– My very own pair of scissors
– Sticky-tape and dispenser
– Countless paperclips
– Several foldback clips
– Highlighters of varying colour
– Two mechanical pencils
– One traditional pencil, just for kicks
– An eraser for said pencils
– Spare post-it pads

And should I ever run out of any of these items, or should someone use them and fail to return them, I can just saunter over to the well-stocked stationary cupboard and get some more.

This was not possible at my last job. We were always stealing pens from one-another, especially from our supervisor who had a stash of several, she didn’t mind though so that was good. Aside from that, the stationary cupboard was locked. You know. Just in-case we lost billions of dollars through pen theft.

I like the stationary cupboard here. It is my friend.
