Thursdays are like Fridays
Excepting of-course that we don’t get to wear jeans on Thursday.
I’ve just about tidied up everything here at work, a good way to wrap up the afternoon. At end-of-month and end-of-year, we will have done a fair few millions. Nice. Good effort that.
Oram’s out, it’s up to Styris now, though we won’t see much support in the bottom order. As affectionately as I think of the Kiwis, I still call Australia home, so it’ll be good to walk away with the series.
I get to see Baby again tomorrow, as my sister and her husband are staying over through Christmas. Olivia is just too awesome and too cute for words… other than awesome and cute.
I had a startling thought today – today’s particular brand of death was a bottle of Fanta, and it actually smelt of oranges. This is disconcerting, as generally I like my death to not resemble anything organic. Nevertheless, Fanta will from this day forth always be a little less orange than it was… or a little more. I should have stuck with Sprite for sugar-water.
My department’s christmas emails are hillarious, we’re such a close-knit bunch. There were about 30 people on the email list and it felt good to be included. It also feels good to work with people who are charismatic and intelligent.
If I never see another invoice again for the rest of my life, I’ll be happy.
Alas, that surely will not be the case.
I have a plethora of games to play, but I’ve gotten back into Amped 3. It’s so much fun. Also vying for screen-time are Eternal Sonata, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Link’s Crossbow Training, Endless Ocean and The Orange Box.
I have far too many DVDs to watch. Every time I watch one film, I buy about three more. The good thing is I’m never stumped for what to watch, as the selection is pretty good. I’d hate to feel the urge to watch something I didn’t own yet.
With one exception. I really want The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine, which was released a few years back on DVD, but has since disappeared. I’m sure it’ll see a re-release soon, in some kind of 41 disc special edition with interviews with the staff-secretary and caterers of the production.
It’s been raining solidly through the night, stormy too, and pretty much most of the day. Aside from the one other time it rained like this (and as I recall, I wrote about it), it’s been far too rare.
I love rain. I love it so much.
…
BABY!
What rain and cold are to you is what heat and sun is to me 😉 …How many movies do you think you watch in a year on average? This year?
