I’m considering not reading any diarists below twenty-one years of age. My thought was that more often than not, their entries are quite infantile (my current favourite word) and really inarticulate. If it isn’t either of those or indeed both, then entries tend to be rather dull. Then of-course I went hunting for diarists above the age of twenty-one and realised that age is no barrier to dullness and poor articulation. Considering this, the idea of becoming even more of an elitist prick than usual has deterred me somewhat, after-all, most of my entries are totally nonsensical, I shouldn’t be such a harsh judge on others. It is fun though.

Actually I’ve started writing in this diary less as Vroenis gets more time, this tends to be the case when creative juices are flowing. I’ve never had the inclination to divulge the ordinary (read: dull) happenings of my life in a diary and tend to record details of emotions or events that I want to record purely for myself. I write responses to films and games a lot less these days, as at one stage I would write a response to everything. My writing is evolving and the way I record things is changing along with it; the way that I perceive life and write it to long-term memory is changing, somewhat documented in my handwritten journals. These days I simply don’t care much for sharing things anonymously in an online community that is made of people who are less like-minded than more. No slight intended to the Open Diary community at all, just that my taste for friends is a little more acquired than what is commonplace.

Speaking of tastes, current flavours are:
Ring road, by Underworld – I cannot get enough of this track from the new album. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
Beaucoup Fish, by Underworld – This has always been my favourite Underworld album, but every time I listen to it, I continue to be amazed by the extremely high quality of it; graceful electronic-music indeed.
Pasta salad – There are days when I think I like cold pasta salad better than normal hot pasta. Perfect in summer. I had some today; two varieties, supplied by the office.
Eternal Sonata – A Japanese RPG on the Xbox360, a rare beast indeed. This has to be one of the most lovingly crafted games in a long-while. Overflowing with charm and high production values, it just gets better and better the more I play.

That is all. Dismissed.

I just stumbled across a song that melted me and I thought you would enjoy: Final Home (piano mix) – DJ Krush. Also Danger of Love – DJ Krush. mmmm mmmm melting goodness. I’m debating on whether or not to pick up a whole album of his or just these two songs… I think I’ll look up Underworld and see what you’re making such a fuss about while I think about that. =P

I was going to leave a fist-shaking note about judging people by age but by the end of the paragraph you corrected it, unfortunately for me. Now it seems this note purely has the purpose of informing you of what the original note was going to be. Before I start going in circles, if you love Underworld I would recommend a music duo called Astral Projection, very progressive, goa-type trance. end.
