Halo 3 | games | things to watch
Em, I wasn’t really excited, still aren’t really.
No that’s a lie.
I’m semi excited, but I was never excited enough to pre-order. Good thing, because I waltzed into my local K-Mart today on my lunch break and just bought two copies, one of which is for Chibi-R. So we’ll probably have a bit of a bash at it tonight, but more than likely we’ll end up watching Big Love or Futurama or other some-such. Or I’ll head off home to watch more Farscape; I need to finish the first season so I can hurry up and give it to Chibi-R.
I was seriously considering MySims on Wii but for the numerous loading screens, and also because I don’t really have the time it takes to commit to building everything. I really like the idea, but alas, it doesn’t suit my lifestyle. Valkyrie Profile 2 looks awesome, I’ve always been keen on it, and Rogue Gallaxy is equally nifty, both of which Chibi-R has. We’re also keen on Eternal Sonata, especially given its Tri-Crescendo heritage, but again, I don’t think I have the time for J-RPGs anymore. Perhaps some of these may just be good enough to get me hooked.
As for things other that Farscape to watch, I have a bit of a list, The Hours, Personal Velocity (I think it’s called), Last Orders, Deadwood Seasons 2 and 3, plus Nodame Cantabile – plenty of social drama there, plus a whole lot of others I haven’t mentioned, the least of which are the three other seasons of Farscape. I’m working through it all slowly, chopping up Farscape with films and things. I’m also watching some older films with my father that I’m really enjoying, so time really is a bit thin.
One good thing though, is that I can go into JB HiFi and walk out again without buying a single thing, seeing as I already have it all.
For now.
There’s also that Sim Society game coming out.

Already have it all!? Mmmmm… jealousy I am plagued with the ring of death and have to delay my Halo 3 experience because of it.. despite our pre-order. Sad day.
