In regards to anime, it’s probably worth mentioning that just like that, I’ve hit full-on genre-maturation, or in this case, medium-maturation. I’m now so incredibly entrenched in my medium-kings (as per genre-kings… if you know, you know, if you don’t, don’t worry about it), that it’s extremely difficult for new works to impress me, such is the way of art.
