Jewellery | a pictoral
All of a sudden I’ve found a love for jewellery, particularly rings. Also for the first time, I know own a bracelet which I bought yesterday with a matching ring. Hooray for me.
My god! A picture! These would be the Steel Hawk (stainless steel) ring and bracelet (Stainless and leather). The bracelet has a groovy bat-wing clip on it – very nice indeed.

My other rings. The Double Black (silver) ring on the left is also new, purchased last Wednesday. The other large ring in the centre (stainless) was purchased a couple of weeks ago and serves as my everyday ring. The battered one on the right with the two thin black lines (silver) is the oldest ring I have, purchased about 4 years ago.

My Kenneth Cole now with a battered band – on the inside anyway, the outer leather is still perfect. This is a dress watch, and currently my Skagen Aktiv isn’t very active at all and is in need of cleaning, repair and new batteries which I could do myself but won’t because I’m a lazy bitch. I’ll have to take it somewhere and pay someone to do it. We shall refrain from showing the Skagen in its poor state. This Kenneth Cole is probably six or so years old now, but it’s still the best watch I’ve ever owned and one of my favourite pieces.

The somewhat modest but at least now existent collection. I took these photos when I got home in the evening on the lovely formal dining room table, so they aren’t the best photos… I’m not motivated to take them again. I wouldn’t wear all of this at the same time, so much so should be obvious really. Each piece suits different moods and events and has several combination possibilities, with the exception of the stainless every-day ring. I more or less wear that on its own and never combine it with the others as the brush metal look is quite different from the smoothness of the silver pieces.
If you hadn’t noticed, I like black. A lot. Staples for me are jeans and a black t-shirt, long or short sleeve. As much as possible I try to avoid showing brand-names, and large prints/designs are absolutely rulled out. The selection of jewellery shouldn’t be a surprise at all.
My first pictoral entry! Huzzah for me.
Oooh, those are nice. Hope you don’t mind random noters. *grin*
