1st priority (ep 2)

The first ep was enough to get me hooked, and the second was just as great. The characters are already well formed showing good, developed facets of their personalities, and one or two little issues have already been presented in a very mature way which is always a good sign. The pacing is fantastic and is perfectly in-line with my slow josei and shoujo tastes. I’ll be finishing this one as soon as I can.

1st priority (ep 6)

I don’t know how to start this note, I’m almost shaking with the buzz of episode six. This series evokes emotions so strongly, and I identify with it as strongly as Hachikuro, yet it’s covering different territory. This is just far too amazing for words. So many of Yukari and George’s thoughts are so similar to my own, and their actions so accutely mirroring my experiences that it’s frightening and thrilling at the same time. I’m trying to calm down and take a breath – I have to make special mention of the art-style. While some elements are fairly normal anime styled, there are many moments where the passion for couture and the fashion industry translates well into the art, and some of the detail shots of faces and clothes are beautiful – stunning to say the least. This series makes me buzz like I’m on drugs – I’m (almost) speechless at how any series could be this good…
