Standing Point

Where have you been Miss Moonlight?
I look up from my page with quill in hand –
Lost in times, times that do not exist.

I write and dream about things that do not exist,
that have not and will not ever happen,
I have taken journeys behind these closed eyes.

Living in the senses, dreaming in mindfulness,
states of extended beings, fulfilled,
Finding value in both the laughter and silence of days.
