all by myself.

Now this might not be that much of an accomplishment but I bought first car yesterday.  All by myself.  I didn’t need a co-signer as my credit is excellent.  🙂  So happy!

After browsing around several dealerships I wound up with a red 2002 Toyota Corolla with 49K miles on it.  Milage is a wee bit higher than what I was looking into for a used car but it runs GREAT.  It looks great too.  Toyota’s run for… well, forever and I know it will hold it’s value through out the time that I plan on having the car, which is for a while.  I got the car pretty much at KBB so that makes me happy!  While I was dreaming about a new car I knew it was a little out of what I was wanting to pay for the moment so now I can improve my credit even more so by getting this car and hopefully paying it off quickly since there is no penalty for doing so.

Now just to name the car.  I am thinking Lola the Corolla.  Yes, I’m original.  🙂

Anywho that was pretty much all Matt and I did yesterday, I had an hour long class at work and then we spent the afternoon checking out cars.  Finally made it home around 4:00ish I guess and we both crashed for a few hours.  Matt got up and went to do his pool league while I slept some more.  Someone knocking on a neighbors door woke me up around 8:30(grr) and I got up and ran to Blockbuster to drop off a movie and pick a couple up.  Came home, ordered pizza, Matt got home(it was his bye week) and I watched/snoozed through The Notebook.  Now I’m up bright and early for some reason and can’t sleep!  Boo.

Today we need to get a new set of blinds for the window here in the apartment because they freaking BROKE on top of me when I was trying to pull them up so that I could wash the glass and put my cute Halloween-y decals on them.  I know it’s the apartments responsibility to replace these things but we never told them we have a Widget and I plan on keeping it that way.  In the end replacing blinds will be cheaper than paying pet rent for someone who doesn’t have a damn job, the little mooch.  😉  Oh, hair cuts.  We both need hair cuts!  I am dying for a trim and to quit looking like a shaggy dog.
