Maybe it was seeing Dead Man’s Chest last week but I’ve been feeling very pirate-y lately.  ARRRRR!  I’ve been wanting pina colada’s lately too.  Yes, those count toward feeling pirate-y since you use lots of RUM.  🙂

I’m feeling very silly today.  Kind of irritated that I effing slept until 5(again!!).  I wanted to get up and do some retail therapy today, I feel the need to go shopping!  I want to buy some track pants that actually have pockets so that I may wear them for work and what not because sometimes jeans aren’t as comfortable as I’d like them to be.  Plus no one ever sees my clothes so who cares?

My Grandma Ziggy’s in the hospital again, I don’t really know much.  Everytime I hear grim news and it makes me upset but then I get better news.  I don’t know.  I mean…it’s hard being so far away I can’t go visit her even though it makes me so sad to see her just being…old.  Does that make sense?  I start thinking about when I was a kid and all the stuff that I’ve done with her and I dunno.  It’s weird.  Anyway not sure how things are going but it’s been on my mind since I found out about it and I just hope that whatever is going on that she’s not feeling any kind of pain.

Foot news:  Almost better!  I took some pictures of it for those of you that were asking…it’s looking pretty good so it’s not gross or anything.  Well, I’m sure someone’ll think it’s gross but it’s really not gross at all.

Widget is doing great!  He goes back to the vet in about a week and a half for his check-up and to get him his first round of shots.  Poor baby.  🙁  We need to get him neutered too before he starts spraying all over the place too.  All in due time.  Kid’s growing a lot too, his skin is loose all over waiting for his muscles to catch up.

Work’s going well also.  🙂  My supervisor told me that she sumitted my name for conversion already!  Hopefully I will know by next week and then I will be a full-time Micron employee after only 90 days instead of 6 months!  I rock.  Okay so I would have rocked more if I would have been hired on full time from the start but you know I had no idea what the hell the job was about until I walked into it and turns out I actually enjoy it.

Over all, life’s good.  Matt’s good, we’re good.  His birthday wasn’t the most exciting of days and I feel that it was my fault for that but I figure I can make up for it later on sometime.  Things were just crazy with the cat and my foot for a while there and blah on stress.  His birthday gift still hasn’t gotten here due to it being out of stock(I was finally e-mailed about it twice no less hehe) and me and my dumb ass accidentally told him what it was.  We were at TGIFriday’s eating dinner the other night and I absentmindedly say "Man I am SO happy someone finally e-mailed about your hat!"  And then I clapped my hand over my mouth after realizing what I’d said.  Matt found it funny, of course.  😛  I suck at surprises!

I’m so happy it’s the weekend.
