wild wild west
I made it to Phoenix in one piece! I wasn’t so sure I would make it here taking off from Dulles, it was cloudy out thus lots of turbulence and that made me very nervous while we were taking off. I try not to panic to the point that anyone else can see me but I imagine me gripping my seat like I’m going to take it with me when I get off the plane is probably a dead give away. Other than that…the flights were both good. 🙂 My luggage arrived in one piece as well! I am always so weary of checking bags but sometimes you must do it.
Sarah and I are going to be driving up to K-Town sometime today. As soon as she gets home from work we’re going to go out and get some food which is awesome since I haven’t eaten since midnight last night and all I had here was a little granola bar and part of a soda pop. I am not sure where we will eat at just yet but we shall find out. I wonder if we could sneak a trip to the mall in, I miss my shopping buddy!
It feels really good to be back "home" again. While it’s weird to look around and not see green and a ton of trees it is really good to see mountains! Out east…there are none. At least nothing that I would call a mountain. 😀
Of course I miss the Mattster already and wish that he could have come with but alas he had to get back to work. Oh well, just another break from each other to make us appreciate each other more!
Matt and I wound up getting my little brother a digital camera for graduation since that is what he wanted. It is a Nikon 4.0 Megapix which is fine for a first time camera I think. It’s very small and portable and I hope that he likes it! I need to find something to wrap it with since it’s just in the bag and box right now.
Oh! On my flight from Denver to Phoenix there was a little girl named Amelia on the plane. 🙂 She was about 1 and a half or so and TOO cute! She was blonde and had blue eyes and she and I were playing peek a boo back and forth for a very long time. She spent a lot of time just staring at me and making cute faces, I think we had a name connection going on! I love me some cute babies. 🙂
Well I guess that is about it from me. If you don’t hear from me in a few days it’s because I am in the land of no internet aka the parental’s house. Oh well, might as well utlize my time up there anyway. So I guess if anyone wants to come by and see me I’ll be at Graduation on Thursday(tomorrow, omg) at South Campus, that’d probably be the easiest place to find me at I guess. If not, text me if you have my number and we’ll work something out!
Later taters, hope all is well!
and then she’ll be at the music for a cure in tempe on saturday. hahahahaha

yeah cute babies ARE adorable. “Out east…there are none. At least nothing that I would call a mountain. :D” lol yeahhh I remember one time my mom took me hiking on a mountain when I was a kid. I was like, “wow, those are huge mountains!” mom laughed and was like “people out west make fun of us. they call our mountains ‘hills’.” so your comment made me giggle, lol.

Hey! We have mountains… they’re just a very old range, so they’re a little worn down (like chromosomes get when humans age). Respect your elders, missy! 😉 Have fun at the old homestead! The east coast misses you!
