I have to admit the one good thing about working the night shift is that staying up until five in the morning is an a-okay thing to do.

I do wonder about the birds around here.  About 4:30 or so they start chirping away and it’s not even hinting at being light yet.  Sometimes I wonder if birds just wake up cheerful or they do it because they have to.  Do animals have moods like people do?  Occasionally I just wake up in a BAD mood.  No reason, I just do.  Other days I pop out of bed and am up and at ’em.  Those days are rare but I do love them so, I enjoy being perky from time to time.

I wonder if we are really running the show sometimes.  Yeah sure, we’ve made all these things to make life more comfortable and to make surviving easier.  But take a look at animals.  They have to fight so much harder to live and they always seem so happy.  Our dogs and cats own us, we do not own them.  Kind of puts things into a weird perspective but maybe it’s just the pending sleep talking.  But then I look at the assholes that beat animals and hurt them for no reason at all.  Fuckers.  Piss me off.

Was on gmail tonight for a while and so was Matt.  We chatted for a little bit before he scurried off to bed and noted that gmail converts the <3 into a real heart.  I think Matt was more excited about it than I was.  🙂  He is so spoiled, he has another flying lesson tomorrow(which I imagine is an early birthday present from either his brother, dad or grandpa).  He sounds like he is having a good time, I guess they went to some waterfall today.  I wish I could be there.  🙁  I’m debating on something to do for his birthday as he will be turning 25 this year.  Anyone want to throw out any fun ideas?

As of May 16th my sister Sarah has been married for 10 years.  That’s a whole decade, folks.  I was in 8th grade when they got married.  It’s hard to believe that 10 years has flown by so quickly!  Mike got her a new ring for her right hand and I’m happy that he actually got her something nice.  I feel that she is often very under-appreciated by him and that makes me mad as it should since she deserves only the best.  She threw him a surprise birthday dinner this past Saturday since today(the17th) is his birthday.  She’s too good to him, really.

I watched a movie called April’s Shower tonight.  It was in the gay/lesbian genre(if you will) and I found it quite enjoyable.  A little silly and too over the top to be true at times but enjoyable none the less.  I guess it came out back in 1996 and they are just now releasing onto DVD.  *shrugs*  I always encourage more mainstream gay/lesbian movies because I think that love is love and no matter who is involved; it should be celebrated and not shunned.

Lately I have been addicted to Orange Juice.   Probably not the worst of addictions but I can’t imagine drinking half a bottle in one day being entirely healthy for me.  It just tastes so darn good.

I wish Matt were here, I am craving some sexing.  I guess we will have to get all of our sexing in on Sunday night since Monday he will be getting his wisdom teeth removed and probably won’t be in the mood for anything for a few days.  I doubt he’d turn down a blow job but you never know.  Sometimes I feel bad because I am not so much into the blow job thing.  I don’t mind giving them but after dating my prick of an ex and him expecting them all of the time it just turned me off to them and instead of being enjoyable they became a chore.  I know I need to get the fuck over that because Matt has dealt with enough of my baggage and deserves a nice bj from time to time.
