RYN: I didn’t think it was spicy at all. But I am pretty heat tolerant. The last minute addition of sour cream stirred in takes most of the heat out, I think. It is very low on the Scoville scale for hotness, plus you are supposed to remove the lining and seeds which pretty much takes it down to a very very mild pepper. The one chipotle chili has more heat than the anaheims. Poblanos are in the same range – just make sure they are green. Dried poblanos are much hotter since they are dried when mature.
