I may survive this stupid idea I had that I could go back to school.  I have finished six out of the nine assignments that are due.  The last three aren’t due until Monday now.  One is an APA format paper.  I think I have to write the citations out correctly for the sources, not really write a paper.  Then I have a 1000 word paper to write for developmental psych.  And some questions for patho.  It won’t take too long.  The reading for psych takes the longest because it is just so damn boring.

 

I still have the entrance exam on Thursday.  I’ll have to get up at 5 to leave here at 6 for my two hour drive.  Oh goody.  It was sold out at my school, so the next closest place is Palestine.  It was either two hours to Palestine or four to Houston.  The test has to be turned in by September 15th or I can’t be considered to enter the nursing program.  Grr, it’s what I get for waiting to the last damn minute to do stuff.

 

Big kids survived their first week.  Baby Doll came home pissed because her spelling words were too easy.  She didn’t understand why the teacher couldn’t just give her a pretest to make an A on and not have to take a spelling test on Friday.  Very weird kid. J  Jesse is happy too I think.  He’s never going to be a huge fan of school, but at least he is more tolerant of it this time.  We didn’t know for sure if he was gonna pass to 6th grade this year so I think that fear of having to do it again might have been the kick in the ass he needed to get more serious about school.  Only time will tell.

 

Taco turns 3 this Saturday.  Can you believe it?  I’ll have to get some cute pictures together for y’all.<span style="ms

Ugh, its midnight.  I’m gonna go pass out for a few hours.
