I quit
I quit yesterday at the doctor’s office.
The doctor’s wife was way to difficult to work for. I am a 30 year old woman, I do not need a babysitter. She wants to sit on me every second of the day. I got really really tired of her calling me on the hour to ask if I was working. Mandy, are you calling insurance? Are you calling patients? Are you working? Serioulsy, she asked if I was working. I told her no I was staring at the fucking wall.
Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer.
Anyway, we had a big blow out over insurance yesterday morning. I wrote my resignation letter afterwards. Then I did three weeks worth of charts for the super sweet lady who it would get dumped on after I’m gone. I told her please don’t hate me, handed her the latter and my keys and told her bye. She was sad I was going, but completely understands. She has worked there for 20+ years and quit a few times.
I was so happy this morning when I woke up and didn’t have to put up with that shit anymore. It was just like ahhhhhh.
I’m working on my resume today. I’ll get to work finding another job in the next couple of weeks. The kids start school on the 22nd. There is enough stuff to keep me busy until then with the getting the heathens back to school mode the house is in.
Today has been a much better day.

Glad you did what was best for you 🙂

I hate it when you get someone at work who just cannot accept you’re capable of doing your job, unsupervised. I hope you made it very clear that was your reason for resigning in your letter of resignation.

Good for you, with you losing your Mom and the problems the kids are having, probably better for you to be home with them.

150 for 2 kids? That is messed up. I hate the court system
