Happy Halloween!!!
I just got her all clean and pretty so now I can stick her in the pirate costume to come home with a chocolate covered face.
Jesse doesn’t get to go trick-or-treating. He beat up a little boy, knocked him on the ground, and laughed all the way to the teacher who was getting on to him. Mom said he did it because he thought it was funny. I said he did it because it was Sadistic. We are having a huge fight over him right now. I think he shouldn’t be allowed to be a bully. She says he is just being a kid. Bullshit. I’m not going to have some little bad ass thinking he can get away with that crap. Mom can say something about it when she can get up and do something about it. ( Yes, I’m well aware that that was completely tacky and horrible to say about my mom, but Jesse is going to be good at school, damnit.)
Anyway, apst that crap. I’ll be back tonight with some pics of Doll all piratey cute.
Happy Halloween!!!!
Y’all take care,
Mandy
Ovarian cancer: It whispers, so listen.
Everytime I come to your page, you make me go downstairs to get another handful of candy corn. damn you! RYN: Lola will be *at least* three times the size she is now. She weighs in around 100g.. and she should be somewhere in the 300-400 gram range. However, her mom and dad were quite huge (600+ grams).. so she might be on the large size. Molly is a smaller hedgehog (in the scheme of hedgehog sizes).. She is around 350 grams and fits pretty well in two hands. I think that is around 3/4 lb.

Oh yeah.. and no, hedgehogs don’t really get separation anxiety like a puppy will. They are pretty much solitary animals. It is very likely that even though Lola and Molly are both female, they will never live in the same cage. However, if they get along great, I will consider it, but build the cage where I CAN separate them if I need to. Two males will never get along… and well, a male and a female will lead to babies or sexual frustration. haah.

LOL @ your first note! I can’t wait to see pics of her!! It’s a good thing that Jesse isn’t going, what he did wasn’t ok. I feel bad for him, because I mean, damn, his mom is sick all the time and I’m sure things are very confusing in his little head, but you’re right, there is no reason for him to be a bully and yes, he will do good in school! lol

I wouldn’t let him be a bully either…if he starts like that now, who knows if he’ll get out of that mindset later on in life…bullies I knew in elementary school were jerks all the way up till graduation from high school.. Can’t wait to see the pics!! 😀

I think you did the right thing too by not letting him go trick or treating. Totally stand your ground.
