Taxes=Done and Seizures (again)

Woohooo!!!!!!!!

That’s right ladies and gentlemen, Mandy has completed and filed her taxes for 2004. I don’t know what put the fire under my ass, but I felt the need to get them done.

Did you know that having a child this time of year is a reward? I just learned that myself. She gave us lots of tax credits. I was truly surprised.

And did you know that you can file for free if you go to the IRS website? Its amazing what you can learn when you are bored out of your mind.

Anyway that was the only good thing that happened today. Mom called me at 4:30 this morning. She had been having seizures all night. When she starts, she loses her ability to talk for a while. Its like trying to understand what a two year old is telling you. God that sounds evil of me, but I can’t think of any other way to explain it.

Anyway she was hollering into the phone and Dad finally heard her. He woke up, took the phone away from her and told me he was taking her to the ER. I said okay and tried to get ready to go over and watch Jesse. Took me fucking forever since all the losers over here are no fucking help what-so-ever. I called back over there to make sure Dad was doing okay getting Mom ready to go. He wasn’t. She passed out while he was pulling a shirt over her head. I told him to go ahead and call the ambulance, there was no way he could do it alone.

The paramedics get her on the gurney and off they go. At the hospital we find out her Dilantin level is almost zero. Two doctors and several nurses witnessed about 15 seizures in the course of two hours. That is an outrageous number for anyone. The only good thing to come of it all is that at least there is more documentation of her seizing. One of the ER doc said it looks like epilepsy to him.

They want her into a neurologist on Monday. I want her to go badly. I think its about time we got a name as to what ever is causing this.

Okay y’all, I’m off now. Not that you really want to know, but its whoopie night and I’m getting warm all over from my glass of wine. (I don’t want to hear anything about getting tipsy on one glass of wine. I am not a drinker. :P)

Y’all take care and hug those babies tight.

Mandy
