Lately

A dear friend of mine brought it to my attention that I have updated on anything really in the last few days. *hugs*

Joseph and I went to church on Sunday. Wow, shocking I know. Here’s what is even more shocking, it was Joseph’s Dad’s church. *Gasp!!!! Could it be that Mandy has forgiven the hypocrites? Well, hell no. I just felt the need to be in church right now and Ray was always a great preacher, even if he is an asshole. We are helping build the church. It doesn’t even have a building yet, but we hold services in banquet rooms. They asked me to run the daycare program and help with the school. I’m a little indecisive about it, but I do love kids. I think I would get a kick out of being in charge of a daycare. Brandi and Jesse could be with me all the time.

Mom was doing excellent until yesterday. She didn’t tell me that she was out of Dilantin, so her seizures came back with a vengeance. She has tree full-blown episodes. I was scared because she was foaming at the mouth and trying to call out to me at the same time. Dad picked up her Dilantin so she took a loading dose at about six last night, but it wasn’t good enough. She had a bad one at about three this morning. No one was awake, but her and Jesse. She managed to get Jesse to wake up Joseph. By the time I woke up, she was already almost finished. So far none today.

Brandi is doing great. She is so advanced. I know every new mom says that, but she is. Mom bought her a walker, not to learn to walk, just to give her something else to do. She loves it. She sits up and watches TV. And it makes her a toy for Jesse. That sounds horrid, but Jesse likes to push her around in it and she giggles the whole time. She rolls over and scoots around her crib. I am so in love.
