Now, on a much lighter note
I am 37 weeks along. That is an incredible number. She is now called full term. I love it. Brandy and I were early, but twins almost never make it to full term, there really isnt enough room. Jesse was taken early because he was being lazy that day. Mom had gone in for an amniocentesis, but Jesse wouldnt move when the ultrasound tech pushed on him, so they thought something was wrong. That night when he was delivered, it turned out he was just hungry. According to all the L&D nurses there, Jesse was the first baby they had ever seen eat a full 6 ounces (that is two of the hospital sized) bottles of formula.
Man, I can talk for a while about Jess. The actual point of that last paragraph was to say weve gone farther than either of my moms pregnancies. I guess that kind of thing is genetic, I really have no idea.
It is nice not to worry about her being to early or too small now. She was 4 pounds and 10 ounces at the last u/s. That was a while back. I think about four to six weeks ago and on average a baby gains half a pound per week, so she could possibly be almost 8 pounds. Good lord. StarLight, you may have jinxed me yet, but she will still be smaller than Flicker!!!!!!! 😛 It makes me happy to know she is doing well. When Brandy and I were born, she was 4 pounds 11 ounces and I was 4 pounds 2 ounces. She should for out weigh Brandy. I feel safe.
The only thing left is for someone to try and convince me that 10 centimeters is big enough for a head and shoulders to pass through. Ive seen ten centimeters, a head is not 10 centimeters. Ohh!! And shoulders are bigger and they sure as shit arent 10 centimeters!!!
Yall Take care,
Mandy
*hugs* congrats one the HUGE milestone. I think I jinxed myself more so then anyone else!

I’ll be 37 weeks on Saturday!! I don’t think my dr is going to let me go to 40, though, because my blood pressure is constantly going up every visit. I go again tomorrow, then I have a u/s with a perinatalogist [just precautionary] Wednesday.. I’m guessing I’ll have her sometime during the week of the 18th-24th.. but who knows! I’m freaking out though, that’s way too soon! :X
