Oh, the things..*

♥ I did end up seeing Ed this week, as promised. Actually, I saw him two days/nights in a row, if you can believe it. I know I can’t! We met up on Monday night while I was working and I jumped in his car and we drove around for a bit. Found a place to be a little frisky, then went our separate ways. On Tuesday night after I was done work we were messaging each other and I was totally trying to get him going (because I’m oh-so-bad) and it worked well enough that he told me to meet him for a quickie. Worked for me.

♥ I got yelled at yesterday by a client at work. There’s one woman who I’ve seen a handful of times and although I got the impression that she was a real bitch, I liked her a lot until yesterday. She seemed to have a heck of an attitude but was always nice to me regardless. Yesterday I had to assist her in the shower and when she was finished she was trying to explain to me how she wanted the towel placed under her. She wasn’t explaining it very well and I just wasn’t understanding and she had absolutely NO patience whatsoever. She practically swore and yelled at me for a solid 5 minutes. I mean, I get it- she was nervous about falling in the bathtub (she only had one leg) and I had to move quickly while she stood so she could sit back down- but holy shit. It was bad enough that i had to notify my supervisor just in case. She did calm down after and apologize for yelling, but it was too late. Bitter ol’ bitch, She’s constantly yelling at her poor dog for barking too.

♥ On the flip side, I also have a very lovely and pleasant client. He’s in his late 90’s and he was a doctor and professor. He’s very much a creature of habit and has a routine that he likes to follow. Luckily for me, I do VERY well with routine so I have his memorized. He always tells me that he likes to see me and wishes he could see more of me. I would be thrilled to see him every night, but he’s on the second line (the 5 hr shift) and I just can’t afford to do only 5 hour shifts all the time. I worked it out that I will see him on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so at least there’s a couple days a week. He told me yesterday that he was going to call Liney (my supervisor) and tell him that he liked me and wanted to see more of me. lol.

♥ I decided to post a personal ad on craigslist last night with the intention of finding either a new friend or someone special. I wrote a great ad and thought that even if I got a few responses it would be cool. I figured I’d have to weed few a through nasty ones to get to a good one. That was at 5:30pm last night and by 9pm I had 23 emails responding to my ad! This morning I woke up to a few more, too. It’s led to a few email conversations, which is great.

♥ I’m broke again. I have a negative number in my bank account which is SO frustrating given that I’ve been working a lot and getting paid more. I just can’t seem to get myself ahead of my bills. Once you fall behind, you stay behind for a while. Every time I get paid, I’ve got oodles of bills to pay and then I’m broke again. I’m crossing my fingers that I get income tax back this year instead of having to pay like last year. A few hundred dollars would be a blessing.
