My Brother.

I went to lunch with my brother yesterday. We went out for sushi and chatted about what’s been going on. He was dressed up and looked great and he was bubbling with excitement and happiness that I haven’t seen in a while. He works at Best Buy and it can be a crappy and demanding job. He’s currently up for a promotion to a supervisor, so he’s excited about that. His main source of giddy-ness came from a potential love interest. A girl he works with- who he’s been flirting with for a while. Last night was their Christmas party and he had intended to ask her out to dinner at some point during the evening. He texted me last night before I went to bed to tell me he had asked her and she said sure.

Just now, he texted me again to tell me he was sad. Apparently, she’s "busy" for the next few weeks and he can tell she’s not interested. 

It makes me sad for him. I know that he’s going to dwell on this for a while and be sad about it and I don’t want that to happen. He’s a good guy and I don’t understand why girls don’t want to date him. What’s wrong with these stupid women?? 

My brother is a great guy. I feel bad for him.
