Today’s story

 Dear Diary;

So, I’m sitting in my car outside of work because I’m an hour early and I have a few things to write about.

First: The wind. Holy mother of… It is CRAZY windy today. So far, I’ve seen a man get blown over, several signs get blown down, a tree up-rooted from the ground, power knocked out to stores that’s making everyone post hand written "closed due to power outage" signs, and right now I’m watching leaves swirl and blow past me at crazy speeds. People walking by are getting whipped by this wind. I can feel my car shaking from it. The weather network issued warnings saying :"..Wind gusts to 100 km/h expected today.."

Second: My meeting with Davern girls went really well this morning. I was able to find the place easily and even though I thought i was going to be late, I was 10 minutes early because traffic wasn’t too awful. We chatted about the addition of my job and what it’s going to look like and i feel much more confident that I am on the right track with my planning.

*I just saw the traffic lights loose power. That probably means the power is out at work too- which means I’m not going to be able to use the door code.

Third: I didn’t have time for breakfast this morning so I skipped it. I ended up stopping at Mcdonalds for lunch after my meeting was over and now i can feel my arteries clogging. It’s probably a really bad thing to be able to feel your heart beat when you place your hand on your chest… right? I knew I should have went to subway. I feel really rotten right now.

the weather is craaaaazy! Whew! Hope you don’t blow away! 😀 And I sometimes think that I eat a little McD’s just to lubricate my digestive system… a little good with the bad? Hahah!!!

RYN: It really is a pain isn’t it? If it’s just one or two photo’s that’s no big deal, but I wanted to post around 20 or so. Ick! I know what you mean about feeling like your arteries are clogging right in front of you! Yea for Davern feeling better. The wind can be so wild and crazy. When you’re inside, safe and warm, it’s not so bad, but otherwise it can be downright scary.
